I'm gauging the interest in a very low-cost Python course spanning four Saturdays starting the first Saturday in October. The location is TBD, but will be no further north than Laurel and no further south than, say, Alexandria.

No prior Python experience is necessary, but the ability to think in terms of well-defined processes is essential and non-negotiable.

The course will be free, but a small donation (in the form of a CARE package sent to our troops in the theater) is required. Each week we'll have a cardboard box that will get loaded up with goodies for the troops: all you have to do is bring something for the box.

If you're interested, leave a comment here or email me. Note that this course has a limited number of slots and another group has first dibs on them: it is not guaranteed you'll get a slot. (In fact, depending on the response I get the course might not go off at all!)

[Addendum] Please feel free to repost this in your own journals and/or blogs if you feel your communities and/or readers might be interested.
